Housing allowance

Housing allowance is understood to be advance payments made by the members of a condominium community to the community, which are decided upon in the economic plan and serve to cover running costs.

Heating costs

Heating costs are part of the operating costs that are incurred for the operation of a building. These are the costs of providing heat and hot water to the property.

Heating

Different types and systems are available for heating or warming a room, a building or a city. These can be categorized according to various criteria, e.g. the technical principle, the type of heat transfer medium, the pipe routing or the place of heat generation. Basically, one first separates individual, collective and district heating from each other.

Water or Gas pipes used for heat supply.

Handover

The handover is the actual procurement of possession, usually the handing over of the keys and usually immediately after payment of the purchase price. It usually takes place before the complete acquisition of ownership.

Hot water heating

Hot water heating is the most common form of central heating in Germany. It consists of a boiler that heats the water and carries it as a heating medium through pipes to the heating surfaces, using a pump. The cooled water flows back to the generator via return pipes.

Housing unit

A housing unit is a unit consisting of several rooms in which an independent household can live. The rooms must be structurally separated from other areas of the house and have their own access. To be considered a housing unit, the rooms required for running a household (kitchen/kitchenette, shower/bath, toilet) must be available.

Housing cooperative

This is an association of persons (natural or legal) with the aim of providing their members with affordable housing. In such a cooperative the number of members is open and unlimited.
