Individual heating

A individual heating system is a heating system in which the heat is generated for a single residential unit. The boiler runs only when needed, i.e. when heat is requested. Since the heating requirement is normally during the day and accompanied by the provision of hot water, this is usually done by a combination boiler, which supplies hot water on a continuous flow principle and then switches back to heating operation. The advantages of this heating system are short pipe routes and thus lower transport losses, direct consumption per rental unit and single-wall installation allows for low space consumption.
